UG Vavy • "Gwap"

Once upon a time, the 2008ighties crew was a collective of some of Chicago's hottest emcees. While we expected to see names like Calez, Legit, Julian Malone and others make a big impact a few years back, they were more or less overshadowed by the Save Money army and Alex Wiley and Kembe's The Village. The 2008ighties crew have since disbanded but everyone has been working on some great music including UG Vavy.

After the release of his single "Sport It" late last year, UG has been dropping a new song each month. In his latest release "Gwap", UG slays a bouncy self produced instrumental with his sharp yet graceful delivery. This shit is infectious, I can't stop running it back! None of his recent releases have officially been slated for any project, but both "Gwap" and "In My Bag" seem to be related to UG's upcoming EP Ruby, out sometime this summer.
