You never see it coming, but when Mojek drops new music you're never disappointed either. His catalog speaks for itself time and again. Mojek marches to the beat of a different drum, his releases are primarily instrumental and his hip hop/electronic fusion is responsible for distinguishing Mojek from a lot of his peers. On the heels of his World of Mojek project, the producer serves up a visual for "Jheri Curl (Wildstyle Fm Mix)", a very 80's remix to track 3 of his recent album. Mojek and the gang use the synthy remake as a reason to don some wigs, pull out relics from someone's parent's closet and have a dance battle. The album is one of my favorite of the year so far, the remake makes me want to watch Beverly Hills Cop, and the video is too funny not to watch. Lots of very good things from Mojek. Thank him by checking out "Jheri Curl" above.
