North Coast Music Festival, held at Chicago's Union Park has announced its first wave of artists for the festival held September 2nd-4th, 2016. 'Summer's Last Stand' will feature EDM-heavy headlining performances from Odeza, Bassnectar and Zedd. Hip-hop performances will come from Logic, Action Bronson, Ty Dolla $ign and the legendary Juicy J of Three 6 Mafia. Son of John Lennon, Sean Lennon will also perform with famed musician-bassist Les Claypool under the moniker The Claypool Lennon Delirium. Other acts include funk band Vulfpeck, pop duo Sleigh Bells, Atlanta rapper-songwriter Raury and DJ/remixer Matoma.
It's expected many additional acts will be announced at a later date, including local acts which the festival has a longstanding history of supporting. Several after parties will likely be announced as well.
